The SQ-Pro Steam Quality Test Apparatus was developed to enable test engineers to provide reliable and efficient testing to EN 285 requirements without the need for bulky or difficult to use equipment. Steam Quality Testing has been an EU requirement for many years (ISO EN 285) and has been adopted by the world's pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
The test kits include equipment to enable:
- The measurement of Non-Condensable Gases
- The measurement of Superheat
- The measurement of Dryness Value
- The sampling of steam for Clean Steam Analysis
Self-contained - An adjustable tripod is supplied in order to mount the apparatus for the Non-Condensable Gas Value test and Clean/ Pure Steam collection. This alleviates the need to find a suitable work surface to support the equipment.
Robust - Robust hard cases. This provides a high degree of protection to the kit contents when in transit.
Efficient - Test time is reduced due to the ease of assembly and use.
Comprehensive - Option D kit provides all the components required to perform Steam Quality Tests and Clean Steam Sampling.
Convenient - A bracket is supplied so that the thermometer can be conveniently mounted on the side of the Non-Condensable Gas apparatus box.
Temperature measurement - An accurate dual input thermocouple thermometer with averaging facility is supplied with Option D kit. This eliminates the need to use expensive logging or recording systems.
Calculations - can be made automatically by using the calculation forms on the CD, by the use of an electronic calculator and supplied tables.
