As the regional representatives of Howorth Air Technology, TRAQuE were recently invited to speak at the Infection Control Association of Malaysia annual conference, held in Kuala Lumpur. The conference took place over two days and was attended by more than 300 people from the Malaysian Healthcare industry.
Simon White, Director of TRAQuE, discussed how the Howorth ExflowTM range of operating theatre ultraclean ventilation systems had impacted on the rates of post operative infection and significantly reduced the numbers of hospital readmissions and relience on antibiotics. Using data gathered from NHS and US healthcare statistics the presentation went into detail on the positive effect that the patented ExflowTM system has had in operating theatres around the globe.

Having succesfully completed a number of projects together, including achieving EU GMP certification for their Sterile Cephalosporin fill finish facility in January 2011, the Chinese contract manufacturer Shenzhen Gosun has once again selected TRAQuE as their GMP consultants.
For their newly built sterile API facility Shenzhen Gosun are looking to reach EU GMP standards. After eight hard months the project is nearing completion and the company is putting the finishing touches to their revamped Quality System and refurbished facility. The inspection by Affsaps is anticipated in the next month or two.
Steve Slater has led the project and has been working directly with Shenzhen Gosun in China. He is delighted with the achievements of all those people involved. Reaching EU GMP standards often requires fundamental changes to company systems and procedures but with sufficient effort and the expert guidance that TRAQuE are able to provide, accreditation is achievable.

Director of TRAQuE and current President of the ISPE Singapore Affiliate Steve Slater, was recently invited to speak at the inaugural meeting of the newest ISPE chapter in Asia, the Malaysian Affiliate. The meeting was held in conjunction with the BioMalaysia 2011 conference at the the Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur. Steve's presentation gave an overview of the Vaccine Market in Asia to an informed and attentive audience of more than 70 ISPE members.
